For nature conservation, the Clitterhouse Recreation Ground is a site of local importance and also a park. It is a large area of mown grass bordered by thick hedges. Clitterhouse Stream runs along its eastern border. Several million pounds from Brent Cross Cricklewood development are spent on the improvement of the park. Hendon Way, Purbeck Drive, Prayle Grove, Claremont Road and the subway from Ridge Hill provide you access to the park.
