Danson House is a fantastic grade I listed with a which overlooks the award-winning Danson Park. It was established by Sir John Boyd in the 1760s and designed by Sir Robert Taylor. In 1995 it was prevented from falling into ruin when it was fortunately identified by the English Heritage as one of the buildings that were facing a risk. Therefore it was restored in 2005 after which it was opened to the public all over again.
