Located in Kensington Gardens Kensington Palace was a small villa which was recognized as Nottingham house. Queen Caroline had created the palace and the gardens and Queen Victoria lived at the palace during her childhood until 1837 when she moved to the Buckingham Palace. The most recent occupants of the Kensington Palace were Princess Diana, Princess Margaret and presently the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children Prince Harry.
