Brent is the home to the 170 hectares of open water, marshes, grassland and trees at the Welsh Harp Reservoir. The reservoir is a vast area that is valuable to the Brent community as it serves as and attractive recreational centre for the general public, as well as, serving as a sanctuary for wildlife that is home to thousands of animals that are all protected by the council of Brent. The site is just 10 miles from busy London and has been labelled as a ‘site of scientific interest’.
